hey all (i typed font color as polarice and got this color..cool!)
i'm so damn bored...and itz two hours till OC starts..and i figured maybe i'd update my lj since i havent done so in a really long time...nah sure hoo still reads this ..but meh! anyway...back in skool...2nd yr at york..things are interesting... =) ..that's all i'll say for now..but i have two days of skool..which is utterly wonderful =) (mondays and tuesdays) so i get nice 5 day weekends....that's wat u get for being a nerd and planning out ur schedule back in june.
OH...i quit the zoo for the season...i figured i have enuff money for now..and i didnt want to be working so much if i didnt have to...plus i like to know that i have alotta time to study..instead of just a couple of days because im working inbetween....i like that i have all this free time now...so itz all good =) I mite wanna work for the holidays tho since my last exam's on the 11th of december and i cood prolly make enuff money to not have to go into my savings for xmas gifts. We'll see..i hear old navy's hiring..but i hate filling out stupid application forms..they're really anal...i hate answering questions like "tell us about urself..why shood we hire u" ..i like when they jus take ur resume and give u a call if they want you..thatz wat im into...im so badd at telling applications about myself..gotta sit there n' make sure my grammar's all rite...and we all kno payal has bad grammar. Anyway so we'll see if payal can find a temporary xmas break job.
So i'm really into Aqualung now...anyone heard of them? they have a song from the OC soundtrack..called strange and beautiful...but i downloaded all these other songs that are really good too....soooo if anyone likes strange and beautiful...y'all mite like these other songs by them...left behind,good times gonna come, brighter than sunshine...those are also really good.
OMGGGGG HARRY POTTER GOBLET OF FIRE COMES OUT NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! ...yeah imma hp nerd...i love ron weasley...he's the best!!!! ...nevermind 'arry pottah....s'all bout ron =) lol...my friends n' i all have this plan where we were gonna push all the lil kids aside to get tickets for opening night...but it doenst look like they're having a midnight show..so booo!!!..still...i plan to do some "pushing and shovelling" (quote from Ms.Pelletier, gr 10 core french a.c.i.) if kids are reluctant to politely step aside =) ..hehe i can't wait!
wat else...i kno im randomly going into different topics..but i've only managed to waste half an hour on this blog ting....i have another hour n' a half to bore u all half to death =) ...

wow i haven't updated in agesss!!!...well i'll give a brief summary of it all...basically i got thru my first yr at york (YAY!!) and i'm taking summer skool at the moment (last two classes are this week), so that i wont have to worry bout this stupid required course during the school year...good plan huh? i thot it was =) andd i managed to make my schedule so that i only have two dayz of school a week (monday and tuesday) yay me!!!
hmms..wat else...oh yeah royal bank day at wonderland was sucha suck this year because it rained all day and it was FREEEZZZINGG =( ....we got complimentary tickets the second we walked in..but i ended up giving it to my family when they took my lil cousin from south africa to wonderland...because i was working that day anyway..so i guess i'll have to wait till next year to go bunjee jumping again at wonderland =( ...booo!!!...
On another note.....=) i still work at the toronto zoooo, however i'm no longer in admissions n' such...i now work in cash office =) and i love it!!!! it means no more surveys, no more hot disguisting sweaty stenched smelling booths, fulll hoursss...and best of alll....no customer interaction!! WOOOTIOS!!!... =) anyway let's juss say work's not as dreadful as it used to be =) hmmms...wat else...ohhhhh the new harry potter book...i bot it..usually i dont buy new books..especially when they're hardcover n' cost like 30 bucks...but i was desperateeee....i didnt wanna be on a waiting list to read the book..and i didnt wanna hear from other ppl wat happens...so i juss gave in and bot the book..and i must say..im very pleased..and disappointed at the same time...itz a good book...but a sad ending =( (sorri if i juss wrecked the ending for some of u) ...not that i said anything revealing anyway..i mean....u can't really expect there to always be a happy ending in these books...something bad always happens..i suppose thatz wat makes the books so great....they're not wat u expect from a children's author....

i even went to a potter party at chapters (kennedy commons) for the release of the book..which i must say was prettyy fun...i got to touch a ball python..and a millipede..which was quite disguisting now that i think bout it..and the sorting hat put me in gryfindor =) ...and we won the house cup..and everyone in our house got a lil baggie full of goodies n' such lol...it was quite fun =) ...i didnt actually buy the book that nite...but i bumped into amanda n' nadia (from work) and they actually stood in line to wait for the book... hehe i jus went for the festivities.....yeah immma dork..i know... =)
anyhoo...that basically sums it all up...i'll update again when something remotely exciting happens lol....or when i get bored again...watever comes first. |

i dont understand how i got sick again...i was juss sick a month ago..stupid weather changing..and pollen..and allergies turning into colds...and ugh! ....i have a weak immune system =( .......gotta work on that

it's another one of those dayz..where i have a 6.5hr break..and nothing to do..luckily i had someone to chill with from 1:30 to 4:00 .... anyhoo now i have about 2.5hrs to waste...*rolls eyes* i'm really tired...i stayed up till 5:30 last nite doing this stupid lab for bio of sexology..and then when i finally got the bed...the stupid sun was starting to come up.....i call the sun stupid today because it's bloody cold outside...and the sun's not helping!!! so freakkkin windyyy almost got blown away =(

woke up at 2:30pm...bored...day 4 msn free....ate a peach...cleaned my room, did some laundry, sat around mindlessly and then attempted to study..it's not my fault if they make text books that are so unmotivating (another word to add to me, dor, and hira's dictionary)....played internet reversi....
on another note (there is a gun to my head to say this) carmen is the most beautifulest girl in the entire universe....*rolls eyes* which i guess would also make emily the most beautifulest girl in the entire universe...however carmen believes she does not share such wonderful traits with other people....i'll juss let them quarrel over that! =)

hey peeps!
just in case any of u have been wonderin where i went...im still here...i just realized that i waste a lot of time on msn doing absolutely nothing...so i've decided to come once a week...that's rite..ONCE a week! ...compared to my everyday 24/7 being online...anyway...for those of u hoo miss me lotz and have been worried sick over what's happend to dear ol payal =P (jkz) u can always call me =) i've realized that altho msn is loads of fun..i havent been able to concentrate on what i shood really be doing..for example..STUDYING...so..on thursday i decided to quit msn cold turkey and actually pick up my book and began studying a week in advance for the exam i have nex SUNDAY...CAN U BELEIVE THIS..AN EXAM ON A SUNDAY??? WADDUP WITH THAT!! GO BUSES DONT EVEN RUN ON WEEKENDS!!! ...but parentz are home so i'll get a ride to york =) yayz!
anyway being off msn has left me with a lot of time on my hands..for those of u hoo kno my well kno that i used to ALWAYS be on msn..and altho 15% i wasnt physically there...therez still that 85% of the time that i actually was actually there...WHICH IS PRETTY SAD! ...so if i can help it..i'm gonna try to quit msn altogether..but for now i'll stick to once a week =)
Moving on....my reading week was actually quite fun =) i saw hitch last week saturdayyy.... =) great movie..will smith's hott =) hehehe i heart will smith. anyway good movie ***** (5 stars) even tho my cousin seemed to think that seeing ONG BAK wood have been better...wtf is ONG BAK anyway??? (yes im well aware that i'm prolly not spelling it rite) i haven't even seen a trailer bout it! ..allz i kno is that it's about some Thai warrior....errr exciting! =S watever...HITCH WAS GREAT! =) my friends are going to see it today! hope u guyz like it!!! (carmemily and stefvania)
hmmms....how was everyone's valentine's day???? mine was sadly the best one i've ever had lol...and nooooooo i did not have a special someone to spend it withhh =P ...me n' my singleton friends ;) u kno hoo u areeeee...went out to cafe mirage aka plantation...and had deserts n' juss hung out..and then the employees there gave everyone roses!! =) it was honestly a nice way to spend vday considering the alternative would have been to stay home n' watch chick flicks =| ...dont get me rong..chick flicks are great..jus not on vday ... =) anyway i had fun.thanks guys!

im sitting in the acadlabs at york....bored outta my mind..been sitting here for roughly 3 hours now...thank gawd for the comfy chairs and my mp3 player. Anyway i just came outta my nats test/exam..watever u wanna call it....FAILURE! .... =S i don wanna think bout it....it was only worth 10 percent..and as much as i cood have had it to help my mark...lookz like im juss gonna study extra EXTRA hard for the final =S ...anyway i learned..and not only do guyz produce testosterone, butttttttt SO DO WOMEN! ...men jus produce 10-15 times more than women...AND apparently..will told me that men produce estrogen too!! hahahahah men pmsing wasn't totally wrong when i used that phrase in the past =)
moving on. I've made my schedule all ..compactured...(it'll be a word one day when me hira n' dorothy compose our dictionary...) anyhoo...i only come to skool on tuesdayz and wednesday.... =) 5 DAY WEEKENDS!!!! oh but dont think im so lucky...im actually skipping my monday/friday lectures n' relying solely on the powerpoints and audio lectures provided on our course site... =S we'll see how useful my strategy really was when i get this test i wrote this morning back. =S ....I HATE SKOOL!
On the upside...reading week's nex week!!! WOOOT! same week as UofT too!! =) YAYS!...of course im going to spend the entire week studying of course..because thatz the purpose of reading week...no? ;) we'll seeeee where it takes me lol....i'm gonna help my daddy get organized..apparently he wants to get organized again and chill for a bit too before goin job hunting... for those of u hoo dont kno..my dad got laid off from royal bank =( ..DAMN U RBC!!!!!! IM SWITCHIN TO BMO!
anyway this unfortunate event means several things....
one. whole lotta of our benefits are lost..no more 40 dollar meds reduced to 5 bucks...
two. i get rides now =)....BAD PAYAL....
three. no more rbc wonderland day =( ..there goes that tradition...sorry guyz....
four. no south africa..but itz okie..i understand why we cant go...itz juss really horrible timing...
five. i get to look forward to the ENTIRE summer at the zoo..and possibly summer skool i suppose so i dont have to face sucha heavy course load next year....that cood be okay
six.looks like i'll be buying skool supplies again...(used to conveniently have access to pens,paper,highliters, etc)
However...~everything happens for a reason and maybe there's something better out there waiting for my dad.(i feel like saying inshallah)...*god willing*
Anyway on a happier note....last week i went to ibby's for a sleepover..it was supposed to be to watch brad pitt and build snowmen...but there wasnt much snow to work with..so we jus watched brad pitt movies n' talked n' ate halloween candy... =) it was fun! it was nice...sorry ibby for having the early urge to sleep instead of watching infomercials about amazing vacuum cleaners..haha i had fun =) thanks!!!
Presently it was 1:26pm....i have class at 2:30...TIME NEEDS TO GO FASTER! i think i'll digitally record the lecture at 2:30 and juss sleep thru my lecture...altho if my prof spots me in the class of like 500......IM SCREWED! ....she's quite the witch..she even CACKLES like a witch..sorta scary...and she teaches PSYCHOLOGY! witchy! ... =S anyhoo im hungeee...holy crappers im so hungee....my tummy's talkin to the ppl nex to me..this isn't good...getting wierd looks..no im kidding..ppl usually mind their own business..and glance over at wat ur doin like once n' awhile when something looks interesting lol...i shood i kno..i do it =P....this is a long blog...i have a hope that typing on end will pass the time faster...itz 1:32..time IS NOT PASSING FAST ENUFF...

as i sit here on my computer, with my laptop buzzing in my left ear, i realize how lucky we are. Everyday we complain about petty lil things like being cold in our homes....the ppl in the 11 countries suffering from the tsunami disaster have nothing..they dont even have homes..and here we are complaining bout being cold under a roof. =| i kno not everyone complains bout that..but i'll admit ..i have. I'll be in a car and i'll start yelling at my dad because he doesnt have the heating on...here i am bundled up in gloves, scarf, n' my jacket IN a car...and im complaining bout not having a sufficient amount of heat reaching the back seat. im horrible.. i realize it now... i take things for granted. I'm not the only one tho...i see people who throw away fries or food because it's "too cold" to eat...or taste "too funni"...at least you have that option of eating food that u kno won't entirely kill u. =| then there's the tsunami victims that don't have anything...and are struggling just to find clean water to drink...here we are taking hot showers n' complaining when some other family member has used up all the hot water. I take my life for granted, i dont realize how lucky i am to even have a roof over my head, clean clothes to wear, and three meals a day to make sure i don't "starve".
I realize that the resources are there for us to use therefore we become completely blind to what we have, forgetting that everytime we complain about petty lil things like cold food or not having shoes to match formal wear...we're lucky to even have that option. Millions of people around the world don't even own a pair of shoes to protect their feet from dirt n' glass n' stones n' etc....for those of us that take these luxeries for granted...all i ask is for u to think twice before complaining about petty things..and if possible..donate watever u can to these people suffering from the tsunami earthquake...

well that took very long to do! =) i'm waiting to leave..it's 9:46 and i'm going to see Ocean's 12 at morningside theatres!!! WOOO!! i juss saw ocean's 11 on friday so im sorta psyked!! =) that movie was sooo goood...and brad pitt is veryyyyyyyy veryyy sexy! =) lol hehe anywayz hope everyone's having a super-cala-fragilistic-expee-ala-docious holidays!!!!! =) sorta hyper can ya tell? this is only the second thing i've done since exams were over..the first being an attempted christmas shopping on wednesday...let's jus say that wasnt very successful and i'm still not done the christmas shopping! GRRR!!! GOTTA GO SHOPPING!!!! =S
Anyway...on thursday i'm finally getting a new phone~!!!! SAMSUNG E316..it's a really sexy phone!!! =) i think it's time i've gotten a new phone...my shit motorola c333 was 2 years,which felt like an eternity, of CRAP PHONAGE...(making up words again..but u get the point) anyone hoo's ever used that phone knoz it's a piece of crap that is worth...negative digits...u wood have to pay someone to take the phone from you..it's that horrible...anyway i'm so glad i'm finally getting a new phone =) YAY!!!
hmmmm sooooo.....i'm finally going to south africa this coming may...may 15th to be exact... =) i haven't been there for like 10 years now...i miss everyone so much! i can't wait to go! it's gonna be winter there too! i've never been there in the winter...but it's not like their winters are badd...their winters are like 0 degrees...=) CAN"T WAIT!!! wooo!!!
